Hi! My name is Megan. I created this blog as a side project for my new Temptations Parties business. I currently have another active blog, A Polish Problem, and I really enjoy the blogging process, especially about a single subject. So I thought this would be a great way for me to chronicle this new phase in my life.

This business is a joint venture between my sister, Lauren, and myself. She's not much of a blogger, so this blog will probably be just me. Currently, I'm the only consultant, but we plan to get my sister up and running by mid-February.

We started this business as a way to control our own destinies, as corny as it may sound. Both of us want jobs, but it's hard to fit a job into the SAHM lifestyle. Now that my husband's new job is starting on Monday, it would be virtually impossible for me to get any job, office or retail. The only option was to become self-employed. Plus, we wanted to be our own bosses. So, we thought a direct/in-home sales business was a perfect option.

Then we began the process of finding the perfect company. We thought about them all... Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware, designer sheets, at-home gourmet products. You name it, we considered it. Then we looked at adult products and decided on Temptations Parties. Aside from the better benefits, we also decided it would be more fun to sell a vibrator than a sandwich keeper. LOL.

Thus, Temptations Parties by 2 Babes in Toyland was born. We are getting ready to host our first Open House parties in the next few weeks, and we can't wait to get started. It's going to be a lot of work, but I think it's also going to be a lot of fun.
